Vaseline SunCoins 
Turning Sun Time into Rewards

Vaseline SunCoins is a reward-based web app that encourages sun-safe behavior by turning time spent outdoors into redeemable points. Users apply Vaseline Gluta-Hya SPF, start a timer before stepping out, and earn SunCoins for every minute in the sun, which can be redeemed for Nykaa discounts or even free product. It was shifting the narrative from “avoid the sun” to “step out, carefree.”

My role focused on designing the UI/UX for this gamified experience, translating the idea into an intuitive, engaging digital journey rooted in Vaseline’s beauty-first aesthetic. The challenge was to make tracking, earning, and redeeming feel effortless while keeping the interface bright, trustworthy, and aligned with the brand’s skincare sensibility where functionality meets feel-good design.
